At Soft Open Ridge, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with the products and services you purchase from us. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and returns for purchases made through our website at softopenridge.com.

By making a purchase from our Website, you agree to be bound by this Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting.

2. Digital Products

2.1 Online Courses and Tutorials

Due to the nature of digital products and the possibility of immediate access to their full content, all purchases of online courses, digital tutorials, and downloadable guides are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

However, we understand that exceptions may be necessary. If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from accessing the content you purchased, please contact our customer support team within 7 days of purchase. We will work with you to resolve any technical issues.

2.2 Satisfaction Guarantee for Premium Courses

For premium courses priced above £100, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the course content, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting our customer support team and explaining why the course did not meet your expectations.

To qualify for this refund:

  • You must not have completed more than 25% of the course content
  • You must provide specific feedback about why the course did not meet your expectations
  • You must have made a reasonable attempt to follow the course as designed

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine are not made in good faith.

3. Physical Products

3.1 Return Policy for Art Prints and Merchandise

If you're not completely satisfied with your physical product purchase, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling fees.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it
  • In the original packaging
  • Unused and unworn (in the case of apparel)
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

3.2 Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer service team at [email protected] to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging
  3. Include the RMA number on the outside of the package
  4. Ship the item to the address provided by our customer service team

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (you received an incorrect or defective item).

3.3 Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Please provide detailed information and photos of the damage or defect.

For damaged or defective items, we will cover the cost of return shipping and will either replace the item or issue a full refund, including original shipping costs, at our discretion.

4. Membership Subscriptions

4.1 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Soft Open Ridge membership subscription at any time through your account settings on our website or by contacting our customer support team. When you cancel, you will maintain access to membership benefits until the end of your current billing cycle, after which no further charges will be made.

4.2 Refunds for Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions: We do not provide refunds for partial months. When you cancel a monthly subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of the current billing period.

Annual subscriptions: If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase or the most recent renewal date, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription. After 14 days, no refunds will be issued for the remainder of the annual term.

4.3 Involuntary Cancellation

In the event that your subscription is canceled by Soft Open Ridge due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, no refund will be provided for any remaining portion of your current billing period.

5. Events and Workshops

5.1 In-Person Events

Tickets for in-person events and workshops are generally non-refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket to another person by contacting us at [email protected] with the name and contact information of the new attendee at least 48 hours before the event.

5.2 Cancellation by Participant

If you are unable to attend an event or workshop, you may request a refund according to the following schedule:

  • More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • 15-30 days before the event: 50% refund
  • Less than 15 days before the event: No refund

5.3 Cancellation by Soft Open Ridge

If Soft Open Ridge cancels an event or workshop, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to another event of equivalent value. We are not responsible for reimbursing travel or accommodation expenses if an event is canceled.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase. If this is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative refund method.

6.2 Processing Time

Refunds for digital products are typically processed within 5-7 business days of approval. Refunds for physical products are processed within 10-14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Once processed, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

6.3 Partial Refunds

In some circumstances, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or missing parts
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

7. Exceptions

Certain items are exempt from our standard return policy:

  • Custom-created artwork or personalized products
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or digital products (except as specified above)
  • Limited edition or collectible items clearly marked as non-returnable
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"

For these items, all sales are final unless the item is received damaged or defective.
